This post assumes you already have eliminated at least one belief using the Lefkoe Belief Process and used the “Who am I Really?” Process to experience yourself as the creator of your life.  If you haven’t visit www.recreateyourlife.com/free first so you can eliminate a belief and have that experience.

In my last post I suggested one technique for getting rid of upsets and suffering in your life.  Here’s another way to achieve that result.

When you say: “I am upset,” who is the “I” that is upset? …  Please take a minute and answer the question. …

Remember, you eliminated a belief that you had thought was who you are.  You had said at the start of the Lefkoe Belief Process: I’m not good enough (or important or anything else).  Then after the belief was gone I asked you: “Are you still here?”  And you answered, “Yes, I am still here.”

So if who you think you are disappears and you are still here, you can’t be who you think you are.  You can’t be your beliefs (I am …) and the feelings and actions that stem from the beliefs.

“How did mom and dad’s interactions with you get translated into beliefs in your mind?” I asked.

You answered, “I put them there when I gave a meaning to my parents’ meaningless comments and actions.”

“So,” I asked, “do you get that who you really is the creator of your beliefs, not the sum total of your beliefs?”

You replied, “Yes.”

And “consciousness” is the word I suggested you use to describe who you really are.

As soon as you get, not merely as a concept but deep down, that you aren’t your beliefs, feelings or behavior—you are the creator of them all—you will be able to observe your “upset” and not be run by it.

Who you think you are can suffer; who you really are can’t.

As abstract ideas to be thought about and agreed or disagreed with, what I’ve just written has no power to relieve your upsets and suffering.  When experienced, it has such power.

If what I’ve written is merely an interesting theory and has no real meaning for you, do the “Who am I Really?” Process at the end of whichever free belief you eliminated.  If you purchased the full program, there is a link just for that process on the upper left side of your screen when you log in to the program.  (http://www.recreateyourlife.com)

Doing that process will quickly and easily help you shift your identity from a creation to the creator of the creation (consciousness).  In that space, there is no upset and no suffering.

After you use the WAIR? process to shift your identity, you will be experiencing yourself as the creator of your life.  At that point state out loud and allow yourself to fully experience:

I have beliefs, I am not my beliefs.
I have thoughts, I am not my thoughts.
I have feelings, I am not my feelings.
I do things, I am not my actions.
I am the consciousness that creates and then observes my beliefs, thoughts, feelings, and actions.

Understood as concepts, these words are useless.  Experienced deeply while in the “creator” state, these words will dissolve any upset or suffering you had been feeling.

You may not always be able to affect what happens to you.  You can always determine how you feel about what happens to you.

    Hi Morty
I have done all 19 and the conditionings and WAIR and they have had a great effect for the good. I already wrote a eulogy about that.

I mmediately wrote a book in which referred to you a few times. Bruce Lipton expounded on beliefs – made me think he had done the course :-) Number 8 on this link.(mouseover and the alt tags give you the part number among duplicates).

    Hi Nancy,

You as the Creator of your life is operating through the child, Nancy. Little kids are trying to figure out who they are. Why are mom and dad doing what they are doing and what does it mean about me? The conclusions kids reach are consistent with these questions. If mom and dad aren’t around, it must be because I’m not important. If they are dissatisfied with my behavior, I guess I’m not good enough.

Thanks for your interest in our work.

    Regards, Morty

    Hi Morty
I did the I’m not important exercise and “get” the part about my CreatorSelf choosing to pick the meaning that I did ie: that I am not important. What I need to “get” is why did I pick that (hurt) meaning and not a less negative one. If the Creator part of me is Infinite and Limitless, then why did the Real “I” pick such a negative belief?
    Thanks,
    Nancy

I agree, sometimes I ask myself the same question, to work my way out of it, cause it is a battle that can eventually be won, it’s up to us to master it and give it to God.

    Sincerely,

    Carla

Incredibly simple and the truth. I am so grateful for clearly enunciating this fact which I am applying in every arena of my life. Naked truth has a new leverage within me.

    Hi Carol,

That overwhelming despair and overwhelm is the result of beliefs. Have you tried our site where you can eliminate one belief for free and purchase others to get rid of the despair? http:www.recreateyourlife.com

    Hi Michal,

I’m not clear what the problem is. If you go through every step of the process, the belief will be gone. it doesn’t matter if you never disconnected yourself from your feelings. If the alternative interpretations I offer aren’t real for you, make up your own. No matter what the circumstances, there are many different meanings other than the meaning you gave it.

    Hi Morty,

Just what i needed to see today – I’ve had a couple of people being less than honest around me and it made me realise that i just needed to let go of caring about what some people think! Sadly, there are some people whose lack of knowledge, understanding or spirituality may always be around to comment on my change in perspective and making a happy rewarding life for myself. They own that issue, not me. It’s their negativity, not mine. Thanks for the free lesson – Much appreciated!
I wish you much success in your endeavors too!

    Best wishes
    Jenni

    hi
i did the program of eliminating a belief.
i totally understand it and agree with it but only partly feel that.
    from some reasons:
    1. i didn’t totally disconnect myself from my feelings through my life. so they were still there
2.some of the experiences i’ve had are way too far from giving them those option that you gave
hope you will give me a satiafaying answer

YOU THE MAN!!!!!That’s what the kids say & in your case it is true. I have been searching since the 70’s for this kind of freedom to be me & you have supplied it. I look forward to buying some more beliefs to eliminate, I have done 5 so far & want more! Any word on when we can purchase selected ones? Thank you again.

Hi Monty,I live in Spain and am trying to find a way forward now for 2 years. Everything keeps hitting me in huge waves and every time I pick myself up and go forward, just when it seems to be working out, wham! another and another.I am approaching total despair as I try to focus on positiveness, the Universe, and trying to find the lessons but it is relentless and I am totally exhausted. I am like this tiny little voice at the bottom of this huge well and nothing can hear me,and the great joke is people phone me to talk their problems out and I seem to help them but me nothing

    WHO AM I REALLY
… is the crux of it all isn’t it.

    We create our upset…
then put a label on it and call it us….
    then get upset about THAT…
and sprinkle MORE suffering on top of that.

    Thanks Morty

When I received the invitation to eliminate a belief for free, I’m afraid I just snorted in gentle disbelief (hadn’t I forked out hundreds of dollars for programmes claiming to do exactly that and hadn’t it all been a waste of money?). But it was free, so what did I have to lose. When I eliminated the first belief (I’m not good enough), it went so deep (I always thought I had OK self esteem and not realised how deeply my inferiority complex had influenced every area of my life), I bought the programme. It was worth every cent. Now I find I don’t react the way I used to, my hair-trigger temper (which used to be tripped by perceived slights and insults) is no longer hair-trigger and I just take on challenges without constipating about it. I think the changes hhave been profound and for something that actually works, it was cheap at the cost. I have recommended it to everyone I know and will continue to do so. Thank you Morty.

    Hi Kay,

The belief that has you concerned with the opinions of your parents as a child and now the opinions of others is: What makes me good enough or important is having people think well of me.If you got rid of that belief you would no longer need the approval of others (there might be other beliefs in certain people, but that is the main belief). I think that is the fifth belief. And before you can do that belief, you have to do I’m not good enough and I;’m not important. Do those three beliefs and then let me know how you feel about the opinions of others today. And after you get rid of those beliefs I think your confusion here will disappear. Let me know. Regards, Morty

    Hi Pamela,

You asked why we don’t train people to do the process themselves.

You can take that training. It takes three three-days weekends, 10 coaching sessions, and practice sessions at least twice a week for 5 months.

But unless you plan to work with a lot of other people, it is a lot cheaper to buy beliefs you want to get rid of. One of my employees (who gets $50,000 a year) and I spent a year creating the site and it cost of tens of thousands of dollars to create over 10 hours of video with cartoons.

Do you really think that $14.95 to eliminate a belief (which no one else in the world will guarantee to get rid of permanently) is too much to charge?

    Regards, Morty

I love your program! After doing the free lesson I felt an incredible shift (so I bought the whole thing). The pdf file is also very useful to help understand what you are doing.

I can’t seem to grasp the idea that my parents’ comments and actions were “meaningless.” I understand that I give the meaning to events based on my interpretation. I understand that there were consequences to my behavior (and their opinions of it). BUT, for example, I WANTED their approval so what they thought (or I thought they thought) of my behavior was important to me (and still is, apparently). When they said, “I’m disappointed in you” that cuts deep (they were masters at guilt manipulation). Since I “want” their approval and it’s important to me that they be proud of me, how is that meaningless? (this is hard to explain). Is the meaning I gave it that I needed to want their approval? Or that I believed I wanted their approval?

I’ve done most of the modules… which one is this? This logic point (that I want it so it’s not meaningless to me) feels like a flaw in the process and blocks me on several issues. Where is the faulty belief and how do I attack it?

Pamela could be rite or wrong as a matter of fact our whole concept of rite and wrong could be way off the secret of Morty’s thing here is that all beliefs are made up even the worth of money and life an death, I think it’s funny when I ask people if they knew for sure without any doubt that the after life was better, nicer and no matter how ya die or what ya do or did makes any difference to it do ya think there would be a big sale on bullets, or guns, they just look at me, I say really if you thought for sure that after ya die it’s really nice could you look forward to it. And isn’t that what most grow people tell kids, they say they are affraid the kids might not handel it, The truth is we all learn how to be mad, sad, jealous, greedy, sneaky, mean, we learn it all the only thing we know at the very begining is love.

    Hi Morty,

I am sitting here, in my country the time is 1:25 a.m., and I opened my computer because I was so upset with something that happened at work today. After having written a request to get a meeting with my boss to discuss some of these issues with him I checked my private e-mail, and found the mail “learn how to eliminate upsets and suffering…” I knew instantly that I had to check this one out, and I just had to laugh. It occurred to me, though, that the reason I created the upset/suffering, was that I needed to take some action based on what happened.

    Hi Morty,

Pamela here. I am wondering if it is just better to put the past behind you? I do however like your program. I think it would serve the public more if you taught people how to run your program for theirsevlves after the first time instead of you trying to make money of ignorant people. I could be wrong and there has been times that is true.
